Salomon’s Equipe Race Classic BOA® boots are built for racers chasing performance. The Carbon Loaded™ shell provides the ideal flex for a powerful kick, while the Custom Fit™ Racing liner and Li2 BOA® Fit System deliver a secure, micro-adjustable fit. Lightweight and race-ready, they deliver the fit and feel needed on race days.

Lacing System

BOA® Li2: The BOA® Fit System featuring Li2 delivers precise tightening across the foot and ankle for a multidirectional performance fit that boosts stability and control all day long.

Chassis

Classic Flex: Stability, control and power transmission. Good forefoot flexion for classic style and stiff rear part for perfect torsion to flexion rigidity ratio.
Carbon Loaded™: Offering up to 20% more flexion and torsion stiffness, this carbon shell can be shaped into more complex shapes which bring more anatomic rigidity in shin and calf areas.
Racing Classic: The chassis features a 3D heel cup extended to the toes’ area by a blade, resulting in increased torsion rigidity and the ability to precisely position and adjust the flex.

Climate Management

Waterproof Zipper: Designed to better protect your feet from snow and water, this waterproof zipper covers the laces and ensures your feet stay dry longer.
ClimaSalomon™ Waterproof Membrane: Salomon’s highly waterproof ClimaSalomon™ WP Membrane tests at 100.000 mm on the Schmerber scale, where more than 30.000 mm is already considered suitable for extreme conditions.

Insole

OrthoLite® Racing

Last

100 Racing Fit: Performance last for maximum foothold and precision.

Liner

Racing Liner construction: This liner construction provides a racing fit catering to a wide range of athletes and features a double step-in strap for ease of use. Customizable to your feet in 10 min.
Shell Liner construction: Salomon’s most advanced construction, featured on S/LAB and S/RACE boots, has a high-performing outer shell and an exchangeable liner that delivers perfect fit over time.

Outsole Type

Prolink Lab Classic: A racing outsole designed to maximize kick feeling, with a low profile for exceptional snow feeling and optimum flex for classic.
